There will also be a male therapist working at Better Tomorrows on a part-time basis to meet the needs of any client who may be more comfortable working with a male on their treatment issues.
At this time, Better Tomorrows Counseling Services is not equipped to address primary diagnoses of eating disorders, substance and/or alcohol addiction disorders, sexual offending disorders, or domestic violence perpetration. Any other primary diagnosis of a severe mental health disorder would be assessed on an individual basis. Better Tomorrows is also not equipped to manage crisis situations.
It is the goal of Better Tomorrows to be able to serve a diverse population. As such, it is our goal to accept private pay, a variety of commercial insurances, and state-funded insurances.
Better Tomorrows is also willing to consider contracted services with child welfare agencies. Prior to beginning assessment and treatment services, a financial agreement will be reviewed and signed by the client.
Better Tomorrows has moved to providing Tele-Mental Health services. Better Tomorrows Counseling will return to normal, in office, operations once restrictions have been reduced and it is safe to do so; however, Tele-Mental Health will continue to be a service provision option.
Tele-Mental Health services utilize technology to allow clients to continue receiving Therapy and Counseling services during the COVID-19 outbreak, and beyond. There are several types of Tele-Mental Health delivery models, however, Better Tomorrows Counseling is utilizing both Audio sessions (via telephone or video conferencing service) and Audio/Video sessions (via video conferencing services). The Audio/Video type of service involves your therapist working with you via both audio and video connection in real-time and simulates an in-person visit. All video conferencing services utilized by Better Tomorrows Counseling Services are HIPAA compliant.
